Help!!! CA scared my kid!!

Help!! A CA called my house and asked for my mom. She and I had a joint CC account together a few years ago. My mom and grandmother had the same name. My mom doesn't go by that name..she goes by her middle name...anyway..my daughter told CA that she was dead (meaning her great-grandmother, not her grandmother)...he calls back a few minutes later and tells her she is lying, that the SS# shows her to be alive and well...anyway, my daughter has downs and she didn't have any idea what was going on, but he really upset her and told him I would have to call him back...in the meantime, I have checked the credit report...and SOL is way past on this account..DOLA is 11/95 and OC shows a 0 balance on my CR...should I call this jerk back or wait for him to call me, and let him have it?
