The nasty thing about being an authorized user on these company AMEX cards is that the verbage in the contracts usually says that the card holder (the employee) is held PERSONALLY liable for any and all charges, even though the company paid all the bills. You need to find out from AMEX, in writing, if the agreement that your company had contained that 'personal liability' clause. If it does, you're stuck and your only recourse is thru the CH 11 bankruptcy court.
