: A month passed and all three CRA's still carried the
: negative account on my record. I called the collection
: agency and they told me that the deletion process can
: take 6 to 8 weeks. So I waited. A few weeks later I
: contacted all three CRA's and disputed the collection
: account. Experian reported back that the account was
: deleted from my record. (account deleted 10 days from
: day dispute was started) Transunion reported back that
: the account was deleted from my record. ( account
: deleted 21 days from day dispute was started) Exquifax
: reported back and the account was verified as being
: correct and that it would stay on my record. I promptly
: called Equifax and told them about the letter I had
