If you wish to notify the lawyer of anything, like telling him to go to hades, do it in writing with a proper letter CRRR.

If they refile, (which I doubt) you will then have not only your SOL defense, but a good countersuit for FDCPA violations as you will be able to PROVE they were notified that you were beyond SOL and their action is time-barred.
