The issue is not if this forum is trying to tell people how to get out of paying their debts. It is that the collection agency and credit reporting system is NOT designed to assist people who WANT to pay by doing the "right thing"

Even if a CA were "polite" and friendly" it wouldn't matter, because the system is designed to penalize people who pay, and "reward" with better credit and saved $$ those who fight the CA's.friendly or not.
