I mean best case, the CA settles the debt for 400 bucks, DOES NOT SELL IT TO ANYONE, and REPORTS IT POSITIVELY on your credit report and lets say there is 5 years left on the statute. Your telling me you wouldnt advise someone to settle it and be done with?????? I dont see why it is such a bad thing.
THe point of paying the origianl creditor is ridiculous also....They have already written off AND have reported it negatively to the 3B's. So why would you pay them anyway?
