Do you know about what kind of license the CA has to have in order to be able to file suit against me? How do I find out if this company has a license in my state? I know in MI you do have to have one. It says in my summons that their address where they work from is a P.O. Box. In your opinion, what may be my best argument against this? What SOL do I go by...what state the repo happened in? The state of the OC? or the state the lawsuit was filed in?
