hey just my opinion & no more than that but 1st off id not settle cause it'll kill your credit anyways .. by your figures your in the red 75 k & i have no idea what type of income you may be able to make once again employed & that would make a huge difference in MY desision if i file BK or not .. if your going to make like 40 k per year than yes file BK & of course tell the BK trustie you have 25 k to be giving to creditors becouse thats the law but now if & when you become re employed again & have the maybe the ability to make like 100 k per year than i send in min. payments & try to keep the credit & dig myself out , least that how i see it but like i say just my opinion here .... good luck , kelly ......
