lest say that you are are almost past the SOL on a account.and the new CA finaly sniffs you out. They send their initial contact letter and you never respond. Thirty days later they send you the "good ol settlement" offer. (Which a person would be dimwitted to accept) Is this a sign that they believe they dont have any hopes on collecting.
