Your complaint is that this collection agency and this law firm violated the FDCPA and the Fl. Consumer Protection laws by proceeding with collection activities by an unlicensed collection agency, and filing a lawsuit on an account they had full knowledge was not only time-barred by their own records,but that they had no legal right to collect on at all, as they had not validated the disputed account. Their actions were not only a violation of the FDCPA and Fl. Statutes, but were also an abuse of proccess and and frivolous litigation solely for the purpose of harrassment and fraudulent extortion. Make sure you state that their case was dismissed with prejuidice. Here are the 2 sites for your claim, you also need to file with the Fl. Bar Assoc. against the law firm/lawyer by itself.
