Tracy , unfortunately in your situation YES thats exactly what im saying but not with YOU actually giving the money to the creditors im saying file chapter 7 BK & when get an attorney to do this for you tell him of your situation exactly & pay for his services ( about 800 ) out of the 25000 & let him handle the rest .. see by law your not going to be allowed to keep that kind of money & declare bankruptcy becouse that would be BK fraud & that you dont wanna do .. what will happen is in the attorney filing the BK papers he'll state that you have about 24000 cash ( cause you paid the attorney out of that so no longer 25 k ) on hand & once all filed a BK trustie will disperse the 24000 in funds dividing it between the creditors you owe & the remaining 75000 you owe will be discharged meaning your REALLY DEBT FREE to start from fresh .. Tracy im not an expert by far but what i do have is tons of common sense & if im in your position thats what id do but just my opinion ... good luck & i mean that .............. bye kelly .......
