I have been dealing with The Daly Law Centers (also known as the Law Centers for Consumer Protection) for about 2 years. They were negoitiating settlements on my behalf with my creditors. This year, the North Carolina Attorney General won a judgement against the firm and they were barred from doing any further business in NC. Because of this judgement, they were ordered to refund all funds collected from NC clients except the amounts sent to creditors for settlements. The Law Centers is appealing the judgement.

My problem is that they are holding $5-$7K of escrow that was to be used as potential fees for future settlements. I could be using that money right now to settle my accounts on my own.

Any advice on how to get my money back would be appreciated.
