Didn't you say you lived in Ohio?
In order for anyone to file suit against you to get a judgment to obtain a garnishment they would have to file against you in Ohio. Ohio's SOL is 4 years.

So, you are past the legal time limit for being sued on a debt which was already paid off, (and probably any others you may have also)
