You are being scammed. You had a 2nd mortgage which attaches a lien to real estate. You cannot be sued on any default after foreclosure.

If they call back, request a written statement from them with whatever "proof" they have of this account.If they refuse, which they likely will, make sure you file a report with the Cal. Attorney General's office. & the FTC.
DO NOT give them your bank account #, if you have already done so, change accounts, this is a fraudulent crooked con scheme.
