The trouble is our whole economy is built on a house of cards. The sales, and therefore the manufacture or import of all the planned obsolescence consumer goods would be crippled if people stopped using credit. In my opinion, and I am certainly no fan of the "GOP" - (I am still in shellshocked denial from yesterday), there are going to be big changes in a lot of things that are for special interest groups like the cc business and the ca business, however I think those changes are going to cause a domino effect in the economy that the $$$lobbyist blinded politicos do not foresee. In may take time, and a lot of people are going to suffer, but there will certainly be a backlash effect. ONE of the TWO laws I am ALWAYS sure works 100% is The Law Of Unintended Consequence. The other,of course,is Murphy's Law.
