Kelly is correct, HOWEVER, some States have a separate SOL for "store" open accounts,in most cases it is shorter than for regular cc open accounts. This is a link to a good website(operated by the CA industry) that gives each State's SOL. If it has a listing for "sale of goods" you can use that for a store credit card as long as it cannot be used outside the store.(like some Target or Sears cc)
