I had numerous accounts opened in my name in the mid 90's all of them have been resolved except one. Crestar issued this card and I disputed it, signed affidavits and they removed it from my credit report. This was back in 98. I just had my credit report pulled in Sept and found out they had sold it to a CA. (I did check my credit report every year after 98 and Crestar did indeed remove it). I disputed it through Experian and they came back with the CA verifying it was mine. I'm trying to get a mortgage and I don't know what to do next. Help!
