I recieved (kind of a default judgment, I guess)because I didn't come to court although I had sited SOL in my answer. When I found that the judgment was against me I appealed it. Now, was that the right thing to do or should I have just went to see if I could have it vacated or does the appeal mean the same thing? Also, they give you the option of having a trial by jury, if it goes that far, should I and do I need to get an Attorney at this point or what? And when do I sate that I want to counter suit?.............Help
