If you have been served, you must file an answer with the court.Call the courthouse and make sure you were actually served with a filed lawsuit. Sometimes collection agencies send you a THREAT of a lawsuit, but they haven't actually filed anything.

The directions are at the bottom of my website, plus when you were served you should have been given instructions about filing an answer.

As to finding your default date, look at your Experian credit report, it will show the date the account is scheduled for removal.
Count back 7 years from THAT date to get your first default date. If the account is no longer on your report, just state that the account deaulted prior to Oct. 1995.

If you have not actually been served with a lawsuit, send the SOL letter fom my website. You NEVER ask a ca for help in proving you do not have to pay them.
