Angie , i dont know of your situation at all & i wont answer for WhyChat but IF you yourself have ANY type of proof of early 1998 as in you believe that your SOL is really that date than thats fine in ANY court .. by proof im meaning as in ANY old bills or collection notices from the creditor as showing the account in being late or past due with early 98 dates becouse thats all the proof you'd need becouse we all know creditors & sorry to say even the credit bureaus at times put wrong dates on credit reports by maybe mistake on their part or of becouse ON PURPOSE they were givin re aged dated by either the origional creditor OR the collection company , hell their as crooked as it gets .. look around for old statements becouse you may just have some becouse i looked myself for some from my 1 & only chargeoff from 1998 also & FOUND THEM , SO just maybe ... lots of luck , kelly .................
