I just went to court here in Florida for the same thing. They attached a copy of the agreement to the summons to court. This is what I done on the advice of everybody on this forum and a local attorney. I used the SOL defense and never actually admitted to the debt. The ca and his attorney couldn't provide anything with my signature or anything with the date of the last purchase on the card. The judge ruled for me and told them it was out of the SOL plus they had no records to prove their case. If you don't mind me asking is it a ca from South Florida. I'm curious which one it is as I'm filing alot of complaints on the one that tried to sue me and going to talk to an attorney about suing them. If I can help you please let me know. The people on this forum are wonderful! I have the statues you will need here in Florida if you need them.
