I closed a credit card account in January. Was it legal for the issuer to reopen said account. And apply two more months of AOL service to it. Service for Feb and March. If they can do this how do we ever actully close a CC? Try that with a checking account!? I called CRS and his boss. Supprize they won't remove the charges. The senior CSR told me that I needed to pay AOL for there service. Impling that it was City Banks duty to help them to collect the fee. I don't remember asking City Bank to become my father. :) Credit schmedit, I ain't payn' the bill! Again was it OK for CB to open the card again. I do have closing conformation data.
