I had a judgement filed against me by Greenwood for a credit card that was past the SOL but I was so scared and unaware of SOL that I settled and paid it off. That was before I even knew about this site. Well, just got a copy of my credit report and they filed another judgement against me for a credit card that I'm sure is past the SOL as well. Greenwood hasn't even contacted me regarding this. Should I send a validation ltr or SOL ltr? And actually I have 2 other credit cards on my report that are past the SOL too. Should I send SOL ltr to those CA's too? Would that help to get it off my credit report? I'd like to know if I send these ltrs and the CA's don't have any supporting documentation, can it be taken off my credit report? I live in Maryland.
