well 1st off having the green card would help you out TONS but since you dont id pull all 3 credit reports ASAP like yesterday & see what they've got going on if anything .. i personally WOULD NOT validate ANY 10 year old account that youve stopped paying on in 1992 cause SOL in cali is only 4 years but thats just my opinion & no more .. i would not do anything till i see my reports but MY GUESS is that the accounts NOT on any of your reports so by going on that premise id than send another crrr cause seems like you dont know IF you did OR IF THEY RECIEVED IT so my letter would simply say , STOP ALL ACTIONS IDENTIFYING THE DEBT , DO NOT SELL GIVE OR TRADE TO OTHERS EITHER .. once they get that AND you GET your green card back ( gosh dont lose it again lol ) your home free & they'll have no choice but to move on to others who are blind of the legal rights both via state & federal laws .. pay no attention to what their babble babble blah blah blah nonsense says its meaningless period but some advise ok .. dont throw away that trash letter they sent ya i mean put it to use , what i use to do was tear them up into about 8 sections or so & place it near my phone for use kinda like those lil post it notes for important REAL messages from my friends , hey saves a buck or 2 & kinda comes in handy cause the backs blank lol ... bye , kelly ...
