I know...me too. I did cancel, though, when they did that. After my tax return next year I will pay off Providian and, thank God, be rid of them forever. Providian is a creep and a joke in the credit card world. They've already been sued for enough money to build a small country. They are simply trying to save thier worthless butts by increasing rates, lowering limits or closing accounts. I think they will be Class action sued again for negatively affecting peoples fico scores. I hope it will be the final nail in their coffin.
