I had my identity stolen over a year ago and even though I filed reports from police, FTC, and affidavits from my bank they still have not cleared my name or ssn#. I got married and moved to texas, me and my wife wanted a house. I was denied a loan for a new house and and I could not even open a checking account when I moved to texas. Come to find out the credit bureas have all these over 48 accounts that are not mine but they told me they have received the fraud alerts. They have refused to remove any of them even though their files show the identity theft. I just assumed everything was fine and that my credit was okay. Do I have any way to sue them.
