well depends on Kanas law .. 1st off the SOL in Kanas is 3 years on credit cards from when you made the last payment ever on that account or WHEN the account 1st became past due .. SOL for written contracts "i believe" is 5 years in that state , written is like a signature loan with set number of payments due each mth until the loan is paid off & cannot be reopened , its closed sort of speak .. judgements in Kanas you are correct with that being 5 yrs AND meaning IF THE CREDITOR wants to try & get a judgement on one of the accounts BEFORE the SOL passes either in 3 or 5 years DEPENDING on the type of loan as i tried to explain well THAT judgement is able to be enforced up to 5 years total than no more & its over "unless" Kanas law allows that judgement to be renewed as some state do allow & some do not allow so again THAT totally depends on your states law .. im sure Whychat whos excellant with this type of knowledge would know or possibly others will .. good luck , kel ......
