Sorry another SOL question......

I was a cosigner on a auto loan in 94. My ex filed for divorce and bankruptcy. The bank is now coming after me from a "Motion of Stay". The account went delinquent in 96. Can I fight this using SOL? Also, I have asked the Bank for copies of notices, letters, contract and any late notices and they refused to send any except a copy of the original auto loan contract. DOes the SOL start from the first date of delinquency? Can I fight this?
