If you have their address,send them a dispute/validation/ cease and desist. If they try to file suit, answer with proof of their inability or refusal to validate or prove the debt is yours and they have the right to collect. If you try to negotiate or settle, you will be in for MORE years of bad credit and aggrevation. Do NOT do anything further by phone, if they call request they mail only. How are you figuring the start of your SOL? What is the removal date on your Experian?
