My wife is getting grief for a credit card that she has not paid off. We have a copy of her credit report (a merged report from all 3 companies). The report shows the last activity on the account being 08/97 and the date reported being 01/01A (the report was printed on 02/12/01, we were buying a house). They are threating litigation. We live in Florida, which is the same place the card originated and all the transaction occured. Do you have any suggestions?
