Banks are prohibited by FDIC regulations from conti uing collection activities after charging off an account, they have either sold it to a collction agency, or a scam ca has somehow obtained some data o the account and is illegally trying to collect. (this is the MOST likely scenerio)

You need to find out WHO is actually calling you, post the name they are giving and the phone #,they are probably asking for your ch. acct. # or giving you a PO box to send $$ to.
