It's possible that since you have refused to deal with them that they MAY have either filed the acct. away until a later time OR given up and sold the accts. to another CA. Calm down, tell us more. What state are you in? When did you last pay on the accts.? How are they being reported?

My experience with NCO has been like this: they will send the dunning letters, call and try to get you to do anything that will benefit them. One time when they called in Oct. 2001 I told the agent to send me the statement, send me whatever you have in writing. They stopped calling for almost a year. Now they have started up again and this time I sent the validation/dispute letter. Still no response...

Good that you stopped speaking to them. That's the first step in getting your situation under control.

btw, I'm not familiar with Allied Interstate and, based on what I've heard about them, I consider that a blessing!
