Now that all of the vociferous posters are temporarily out of something to argue about, how about them turning their attention to something they CAN have an affect on.
STATE POLITICAL CONSUMER ACTION
Contact your own State consumer protection groups, find out what proposed State legislation is being proposed or voted on.

THAT is where the real action is, THAT is where the nitty gritty laws on SOLS and BK & judgment and garnishment and CA & OC abuses, and banking violations,and usury and harrassment and fraud are made, (or voted down).

THAT is where the laws that really affect you come from.
