Hello,
first I'd like to thank you for your wonderful help and guidance since I've been frequenting this board. You're the greatest!
My problem: I voluntarily had a chaper 13 dismissed a few years ago. My understanding is that a chapter 13 is to stay on one's credit report seven years. I've recently been told by Equifax that it is ten years, strangly, transunion and experian has removed this information. If it is true that a chaper 13 is seven years, and a chapter 7 is ten years (I was told this in 1995 when I applied for bankrupcy) what are my legal recourses to get equifax to remove this information? Thanks alot!
