thanks for the input--where can i find the state laws for new york--what proof of debt should the attorney show me? About judgement, if the debt is accurate, can i set up a payment plan with the courts in new york? the sleezy thing is this attorney never sent me a letter or called--just received a summons posted to my door--last year recieved a letter from OSI funding that i owed money--but the original creditor was gulf state--never had a card with them. wrote letter to OSI never heard back from them--still have the OSI letter and copy of my letter --Will this help? thanks again
