I admit to not being very well versed in computer use, however, I do have (I believe) a fairly logical mind. There have been several references to the idea that AOL isp id#'s are "random" and therefore any id of a "troll" by those #'s is mistaken. If this is so, how come the SAME isp id# repeats itself over a long period of time for a user? (Linda, for instance, whom I KNOW is on AOL has had the same id# hre AND where she posts in Creditnet for at least the 3 past months) We have a poster who uses several id #'s and who posts VERY frequently. MANY posts under different names using the SAME id# have been posted, on the same day, within hours, (sometimes minutes). Personally, I believe this forum is being co-opted by someone for their own purposes, or just out of malice. Many of the "clone" posts have been used to start LONG flame wars, ("P"). I have made a personal list of posted ISP id#'s I will no longer respond to.If here is some other rational explanation, I will be happy to apologize. Here is a PARTIAL list of the duplicate posts .
