Hey, WhyChat.. who can blame you for paranoia in here ??? LOL. I use WHOIS traces too, but AOL, 800 lb gorilla that they are, mucks that up big time :( Its difficult with AOL because of their proxies (like a firewall) that they use. I did a search and this is a huge problem for LOTS of forums all over the web. Its a nasty problem for people with web sites who want to track who's visiting their sites, AOL skews all those lovely statistics like mad. As a webmaster in charge of monitoring and reporting on my site traffic, AOL is a monster and there's just no way around it. With the millions of AOL users, it becomes a significant pain in the butt !!
