I never received anything in writing from PDI prior to the first phone call. After I received the first call and made payment arrangements, I received a very brief note reminding me of the first payment that I agreed to make. I never received anything from them recapping our payment arrangements. Nor was I ever advised that I would be sued if I did not keep the arrangements or tried to renegotiate the arrangments. The rep from PDI who is threatening me told me that he wished that he had tape recorded our first conversation because he claims that he advised me that I would be sued if I did not keep my inital arrangements. That is not true. I never received anything in writing from CHASE or PDI stating that PDI had the right to collect on my account. PDI is not using a Texas address. The address that they gave me is in California. I checked the website and found the same California address. The telephone number(714) area code is in California. I am familiar with the mini miranda that you talked about, I did receive it from other companies. I have had no problems with the other companies that I have dealt with. The interest rate on this account was 23.99%. Yikes, I know!
