I think you have been paying on an account that is legally uncollectible.

The point of issue is not when you last paid the "OC" but if you actually were paying on a current account. If you say your last bills that you have a record of show a past due amount, then the problem is to figure out when the account was paid on a CURRENT account.

Even if the OC allowed you to "skip" a payment, or pay one payment and be considered current. Unless you actually paid in full ALL past due amounts to the OC and had your account current and USEABLE, the SOL would still have started from your FIRST late or past due month.

This is aside from the fact that the account interest rate is in excess of the Tx legal limits.
