Ron before id do anything id get all 3 credit reports equifax transunion experian to see what they show .. statue of limitations for credit card debts in florida is 4 years & my thinking is that would be 4 years from 3 /98 meaning your past SOL but your not sure IF your wife mailed in a payment or not AND that COULD have re started your SOL FROM WHEN SHE SENT IT IN but im not positive on that and i dont think would have re started the SOL BUT more experienced people here will be able to correctly tell you that .. like i say get all 3 reports asap to see what they show before doing anything but just my opinion ok , goodluck .......... kelly ...
