If they have proof at the preliminary hearing/mediation that it is your debt,and it is within the 6 year SOL, then you can enter into a negotiated settlement at that point and avoid a judgment, (provided you live up to the terms of the settlement agreement)

If a judgment is against you, personally, they cannot attach any of your husbands assets or garnish his pay.
