sol, & it was past it, and they inflated $amt., and interest rate, since it went deliq., long ago. i just thought that maybe since they knew it was past sol, and that they lied about the amt.due, and i proved it to them, and they said oh its not that much, but it is. we were stupid. i guess this is one of those live and learn experiences. whats really awful about the whole thing is that you want to pay , but its all or nothing and once you get behind you cannot catch up with overlmt.fees, and late charges, and the collection people are ruthless. you know though asset never called here, i think they sent like one letter long ago, and then just lurked around, until the night the summons came, no letter ahead or anything, it was kind of strange , almost like they wanted to let it mount up, and then they pounced. i'm so sad that this happened to us, and i know we have lots of company. it hurts to have great credit and now this. thanks again for all your help.
