Pay as much as you can on the CapOne rewrite. Use it carefully. Make your payments EARLY. You should start receiving oter offers in 4-5 months from secured cards with high interest. PASS THEM BY. When you get an offer for an unsecured card, with a reasonable annual fee, and reasonable interest, accept it. Even if your credit limts is only $500. on it. Once you have a year of GOOD on time payments on 1 or 2 cards,you should be able to start getting increases in your limits. DO NOT apply for cards, wait for them to come to you. Increased inquiries (with rejections) will hurt your credit.
