Bankruptcy should only stay on your report for 10 years from the FILING date. You need to send a dispute to the CRA's with proof of your old filing date and it should be taken off, it is past the allowed reporting time.

As for your son's credit cards, the only way to get you off the accounts is for him to request that your name be removed, and he'll have to do it in writing. Are these cards past due ??
