Last few weeks a person is calling me and send a letter from a company Camco, telling me there has been a judgement against you in the amount of $6000.00 and they are willing to work with me if I agree to pay $2000.00. Letter mentioned I borrowed the money from some House Hold financing in 1998 which I did not. I had bad debits in 1990 in California which has been cleared and does not show in my credit report. I just bought a house last week and I live in Houston for last 6 years. Is there any action I need to take regarding the letter they sent me stating I have 4 weeks to respond or they will assume the debit is valid? Please advise. Thanks - Mike
