new CA after sending SOL letter to old CA

2 months ago I sent a letter to a CA for an unsecured loan that was past the SOL for my state. Yesterday's mail brought a new collection letter on the account from a new CA. WHY-CHAT's SOL letter formed the basis for my letter an included language about reselling the debt. Should I fire off an SOL letter to these guys, prepare something against the old CA or what?
