I'm not sure that the CA owns the account in this case. I have the original promissary note. The bank that extended me the loan was bought by another bank several years ago, after this was originally sent to corrections. The first company that tried to collect assigned it an account number that is still being used. This company is based in VA and has changed it's name 3 times since they first contacted me. The CA I sent the SOL letter to identified the account differently on different occasions, but frequently used a couple of the first CAs old names...

Sorry if that's confusing...I add the detail to ask if I should be trying to get to the root of whoever is behind this last CA or just send these guys the SOL letter and wait for the next CA...
