I think you should file BK ch7. I do not think you are really able to pay any amount of $$ for a settlement without it being a hardship. And even if you DO manage to get a settlement you can afford, they may not release the judgment.

None of your boyfriends stuff s at risk, and certainly not your ssi or irs refund, however a judgment lien is for 7 years and you may wish to buy a house, or a car or ge married. Do the BK and get it behind you.
