My husband has just had a call from CAMCO trying to collect on a 12 yr debt that has never been on any credit reports or any jugments. They wanted immediate payment with credit card for a reduced amount and there has been no activity on this since 1989. Can they threaten us with garnishment of wages or is this a scare/scam tactic on their part?
