If he never signed the credit card agreements and he is truly NOT a joint holder of the account, then he could be on the account as an authorized user (AU). AU's are NOT liable for the debts. Since GA is NOT community property state, then he would have no liability. Have him ask them if he's on the account as 'joint' or as an AU. If they try to tell him it makes no difference they're lying !

Have him send these jerks a letter demanding that they produce concrete proof, in the form of his signature on any contract. If they can't produce a signature on any contract, they can't collect from him. Is he dealing with original creditors or collection agencies ??
